Salam I’m Hiba!
I wrote this book after spending six years trying to answer questions that wouldn’t leave me alone.
Even as a freshman in high school, I was uncomfortable not knowing where my life was headed. I didn’t just want good grades or a decent career. I wanted direction. I wanted a goal I could work toward with clarity.
In the years that followed, I kept reflecting on my purpose. I explored different career paths, read about personality types, strengths, passions — anything that could help me choose wisely.
But choosing a career wasn’t the hardest part. Aligning it with Islam was.

I had questions that didn’t have easy answers:
What does Islam actually say about work?
Is pursuing a career just chasing dunyā?
Can my dunyā and Ākhirah truly work together?
Is it right for me to work as a woman?
How do I balance responsibility, ambition, and worship?
Sometimes the answers I found only made me more confused.
I realized I needed to go deeper — not just into career advice, but into foundations.
The turning point
I studied what the secular world said about purpose and passion.
At the same time, I pursued Islamic studies at Al-Madinah International University to strengthen my grounding in faith.
Somewhere along that journey, clarity began to form.
I realized the real issue wasn’t ambition.
It was the disconnect between work and worship.
Why This Book Exists
Today, career conversations are often completely separated from faith.
That separation has left many Muslims uncertain, hesitant, or disengaged from their potential.
Beyond Income is my attempt to bridge that gap.
It explores how work can become ʿibādah.
How ambition can be accountable.
How planning your career can be part of worshiping Allah.
If we haven’t met before…
This isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what we believe in. We’re here to create work that matters, led by a shared commitment to quality and care.
